DESCRIPTION:Our classroom based IP404 courses are run over 2.5 days. Over the\nfirst 2 days your tutor will take you through the course materials,\ncovering a range of topics. The course also includes hands-on\npractical experience of conducting a four-stage clearance inspection,\nair monitoring, and PPE/RPE use. Exams are sat on the morning of the\nthird day.\n\nRegister your interest for a classroom based IP404 course and we will\nget in touch with you when the next dates are available.\n\nPRICE:\n$2095.00 (incl. gst)\n\n \n\nEDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES\n\nUpon successful completion of this course students should:\n\n 	* Have a clear understanding of the requirements relating to safe\nmanagement of asbestos in buildings​\n \n 	* Be able to understand the scope of asbestos assessment work by\nundertaking a thorough review of the removal methodology\n \n 	* Be able to confirm by means of on-site inspections that removal\nhas been undertaken in line with the methodology\n \n 	* Understand the risks/hazards associated with asbestos removal\nwork, and to ensure that appropriate safety measures are in place –\nspecifically in regard to cleanliness and decontamination\n \n 	* Be able to verify that work has been completed by means of\nthorough visual inspections and air testing within work areas\n \n 	* Understand the importance of communicating any findings and\nobservations, and how to document these appropriately\n \n 	* Have an understanding of the limitations of the method, common\nissues that can arise and potential conflicts of interest.  \n\nREQUIREMENTS\n\nThe online learning portal is open for the full three weeks of the\ncourse.  The two exams will be on the last day of the course. \n\n \n - Fibresafetraining@fibresafe.co.nz - https://book.fibresafe.co.nz/IP404aucklandroi1
