Fibresafe NZ are proud to be a test centre for offering the ConstructSafe Health and Safety Competency assessment. Working with asbestos requires workers to have a sound knowledge of safe site practices. Our asbestos removal courses contain lots of information about how to remove asbestos safely on a site, but as a prerequisite to being able to participate in our NZQA Unit Standard asbestos removal courses, students must be able to prove they have the competency to work safely on any work site. One of the ways this can be done is by completing a ConstructSafe assessment. 

The ConstructSafe health and safety competency provides assurance that every worker on site understands the same things, in order to carry out their job safely. The framework identifies the everyday tasks, the risks they involve and the controls for each. 

Your team can now come to our site, on the same day as their asbestos removal course, and sit their ConstructSafe test.
